Can you imagine?

Walking barefoot on this green grass might feel invigorating to some.  Imagine how these sturdy leaves of the greenest grass around would feel.  Inviting for some, others not so much.  Why?  Some might call it tactile or sensory defensiveness.  Why would one have an aversion to these blades of grass?
This is clarified through an investigation of sensory modulation where a person exhibits hypersensitivity to the stimuli, in this case grass.  The person's interpretation of the aversive stimuli stems from their CNS then is exhibited through behavior which may be a sensitivity or total avoidance.
For me, I daintily trotted through the blades of grass.  How would you react?
